TTA participated at the 4th Annual HOMER International Microgrid Conference 2016 in NY, November 2016
Within the session “What's Coming in the Future”,Mauricio Solano-Peralta, on behalf of TTA and John Glassmire from HOMER Energy presented “Renewable Mini-grids Technology Innovation Outlook”. TTA and HOMER carried out this study for IRENA which included interviews with key sector experts, research on patents and literature and analysis using HOMER’s software. The Report was published by IRENA in October 2016 and Report contributors, Mauricio and John, who worked on the study, will be presenting the key findings and highlights of this Report at this Conference.
Within the session “Microgrids: Operational Case Studies”, Unai Arrieta Salgado and Pol Arranz presented “Off-grid PV Microgrids: Project Development and Operation Experience, Case Studies in Ghana and Cape Verde”. Unai and Pol presented the highlights of these projects carried out by TTA and the lessons learned.
